Ania & Stuart I would like to get one thing out of the way right now, just in case any of you are unsure of my feelings towards Julia - YES! A big, fat unequivocal YES!! YES, I am so, so pleased that my then fiancée, Ania wanted to take on the huge responsibility of finding someone to capture the very beauty that was our wedding day and another YES that I was so happy that I was not the one being burdened with the task of finding this very special person, because to tell you the truth, I know exactly what I would have come up with. We’ve all been there, you know, those small ads that appear in the yellow pages (all right, it’s the web now, but you get my drift) ‘wedding photographer – no job too big or small – 25 years in the business – professional service – we guarantee to capture your big day!! ‘. You get the picture. Don’t get me wrong – horses for courses and ads like this will get their fair share of response and to be honest the old boy’s Canon may well ‘capture ‘many a couples wedding day, but what WE wanted certainly wasn’t one of your traditional/customary ‘all couples together now with the bride and groom and the next will be closest friends of the groom and best man’ type of pics...you know where I’m going here. NO! My wife to be knew exactly what she wanted. I guess that most of you ‘soon to be married ‘bunch have already endured hours of perusing the web searching for that special person with the camera that’s going to transfer what they see through a lens into a priceless possession, something you will both treasure for the rest of your lives – do hope though, that now your searches have finally stopped. By now, it’s very clear to all of you how I feel about the person we chose for our special day. I have taken the time to write this testimonial not just in an attempt to encourage you to take the next step in securing the time of this web-sites author but also and I believe much more importantly to fully and unambiguously convey my deepest thanks for the much valued role they played in ensuring our wedding day will be enjoyed and remembered by us and by others for many, many years to come. I remember the day Ania turned to me to say that she had found the person she was going to use and that her searches had finally come to an end. Because believe us we understand what it’s like and what a very personal decision it is. Ok, our photos are, in a word, sublime. I have now lost track of the number of times the album has come out only to find us both on our third coffee into the early hours studying each picture as if it was the first time all over again. But aside from how pleased we are with our pictures, Julia herself was amazing. She was warm, understanding and being honest, having her around was like having a close friend just happily spending the day quietly clicking away (all be it with rather more expensive cameras than the norm) and enjoying the day just as much as every one else.
